There are days,
Where I wish
I could stand back, and
Take into account
How excited I used to get
Over the simplest things.
Science fascinated me and I
Wanted to explore the
Wilderness and ancient
Civilizations
Bringing home my roots
To tradition, in the matter.
I can only hope
I’ve done some justice
To a many old names, and
Older relics that taught me
What it is to be
Kind.
