I wanted to thank you as
I noticed the awkwardness
Of the sound
Of the leaves crunching as I
Walked away, and walked backwards
Another turmoil
Another fantasy
Another luck to menace grins
And mania purges.
And I walked away from all that and into a tree.
The tree had it coming.
My mind didn’t.
All those years ago and I do it every time
And it leaves one wanting more.
Indepence for a brave heart.
Instead of romance, once writes poetry to give it structure.
Now I write less, for I am structured.
