  • Two Cents & Two Steps

    March 11th, 2025

Drawbacks and taffeta daydreams by the sea. Something verbose and beautiful like a bucketful of sea shells, each with a tale to tell.

She stood drawsmack at the pier and only looked outwards, beyond the horizon. Imagining pirate ships and natives and wild horses on the outerbanks not far from here. The smell of barbecue and oysters on the beach.

Absorbing a culture from the West Coast of concrete cities and heat wave smog. There was never wind, not like here.

Somewhere apart, somewhere tantalizing. She has the same light of curiosity around her that the man did. Hazel and Grey but both tinted Green.

They saw histories and futures not including them, just surrounding in a long exposure flash.
