I missed out on cherry waves and accosted small dogs until they followed me to the coast. Forever panting and in need of water. So I brought them to the lighthouse and poured them water made from fresh snow and river water and watched as their thirsts were quenched and they laid down on the porch, the whole pack. So I sat, leader of a new pack. Of outcasts, of cute smiles, and misunderstood anxieties. Skittishness but daring and bold at the same time. I brought them to the sea to live the life with me, forever bonded in unity. Only if it lasts another 10 year.
