Why I Left

I used to basque in the sun wondering when my true love will come,
as in I did this this afternoon
and saw squirrels and a chipmunk later and many a bird.
sparrow, hummingbird,
blue jay
my music is reminding me I had a past on a bender and no one knew
if only they ever listened to the music.
