Felonious Sneak

Generous woes of which to collect,
Mundanity treated with disrespect,
All notions align with two,
I finally told them, I’ve been looking for you.

Sneaking gazes,
Like a rat in the bush,
Liked my pages,
Gave your own some oomph

Desperate foretales,
I’m enjoying this game.
I like pushing you harder,
I even make you say my name.

It’s obvious, if one were to talk about it.
So I turn the sound down, writing away to you,
Masked with smirks, lore, waiting pleas,
I really was just bored, and seeing how I could play with thee.

Generations decree, after many a days
That’s not the right way, I’m angered every time I say
It does not please, me – in my shade,
Yet I sit here, viewing your reaction.

Not a response, undaunted taunts
You seem so angry, virility ensconced,
I gotta admit, it’s lonely over here;
There’s no one here but you and I, at this table.

I’ll take a bargain,
If you stop repeating the same fables.
Wipe it up, with disheartening throes,
I expected better –

Your better side seems to grow, anyways.
Would you look at that?
Timeless and bored.
Now I’ve got someone to compete with.

There’s no other one that could flourish amongst my sense of fun,
Not in my hindsight, now at least.
Within the realms of this dismal, demystifying profession.
But you competitor, you

You’ve got my full attention.
